1. Definitions
These terms use a few specific words. Where you see them capitalised below, they have the meanings in this section.
- Briques (also "we", "us", "our") —the iOS app, Android app, the briques.app website, and the related backend service we operate.
- You (also "Customer") —the natural person who creates and uses an Account, or the organisation on whose behalf you act.
- Account —the user record you create when you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
- Mini App —a single-user application generated and rendered inside Briques from your prompts.
- Customer Data —anything you submit to Briques, including prompts, Mini App definitions, and the records and files you store inside a Mini App.
- AI Output —anything an AI Provider produces in response to your prompt: PRDs, plans, schemas, page layouts, generated text or code, suggestions.
- AI Provider —a third-party model API we route prompts through (today: OpenAI and Anthropic). The current list lives in our privacy policy.
- Credit —the consumption unit Briques uses to meter AI work. See section 9 for what one Credit covers and how Credits are sold and refunded.
- Plan —your subscription tier (Free or Pro) and the entitlements that come with it.
- App Store Subscription —a recurring purchase managed by Apple's App Store or Google Play that grants Pro entitlements to your Account.
- Sandbox —the constrained runtime inside the Briques app in which Mini Apps execute (see section 5).
2. Acceptance
By creating an Account or using Briques, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you're using Briques on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
These terms apply to use of the Briques iOS app, the Briques Android app, the briques.app website, and any related service (collectively, "Briques"). Section 10 contains additional terms required by Apple as a condition of distribution; in case of conflict between section 10 and the rest of these terms, section 10 controls for the App-Store-licensed copy of the iOS app.
3. Your account
You sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your Account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must be at least 13 (16 in the EEA / UK) to create an Account. The Briques iOS app is rated 17+ on the App Store because it generates content using AI; minors should not use Briques without appropriate adult oversight.
- Provide accurate information and keep it current.
- One person per Account; don't share Accounts.
- You confirm that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Briques to:
- Break the law or violate anyone's rights.
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or that violates the safety of any person.
- Generate sexual content involving minors, content depicting graphic violence, instructions for weapons or drugs, content harassing or targeting any individual or group, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Generate or use Briques to deliver medical, legal, financial, tax, immigration, mental health, or other regulated advice for human reliance. Briques is not licensed to provide such advice and its output is not professional advice.
- Build apps for gambling, lotteries, dating, or services regulated under specific App Store categories Briques is not approved for.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or overload the service.
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, AI safety filters, or access controls.
- Build a competing AI app-generation product on top of Briques, or use AI Output to train a competing model.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our written permission.
- Use Briques to send unsolicited communication, spam, or phishing.
We may filter or block prompts that fall in these categories, and may suspend Accounts that repeatedly attempt to circumvent our filters.
5. Mini apps & sandbox
Mini Apps you build with Briques run inside a sandboxed runtime within the Briques app. The runtime intentionally constrains what Mini Apps can do. Mini Apps:
- Render UI inside a webview using AI-generated code.
- Read and write your own data through a defined bridge to Briques' backend.
- Cannot install native code, modify the Briques app, or extend it with new device-level features.
- Cannot make arbitrary network requests or load remote scripts at runtime.
- Access device features only through the explicit bridge methods Briques exposes (currently: camera, photo library, and file picker). Other device resources, including contacts, location, and microphone, are not available.
- Are private to your Account and not shared with other users in the current version of Briques.
The bridge surface, available data operations, and constraints on the runtime may evolve over time. We will not introduce bridge methods that allow Mini Apps to bypass App Store rules or weaken the Sandbox without an update to these terms.
6. AI output
Briques uses third-party AI models (today, OpenAI and Anthropic) to interpret your prompts and generate Mini App structure and code.
AI Output is provided "as is". Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or otherwise unsuitable for any specific use. You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on it. Briques makes no warranty that any generated content is fit for a particular purpose.
Not professional advice. Nothing produced by Briques is medical, legal, financial, tax, accounting, psychological, or other professional advice. You must consult a qualified professional for those matters. You should not use Briques to make decisions where a wrong answer could cause serious harm to you or anyone else.
Similar output. AI Output can be similar across users. We make no warranty that your output will be unique, and we may generate similar or identical output for others.
Disclosure. Briques discloses to users that Mini Apps and their structure are AI-generated. You should not present Briques output as anything other than AI-generated content if you share screenshots or describe it elsewhere.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and the Customer Data you store inside Mini Apps you create. You grant Briques a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data solely as needed to operate the service for you.
Subject to these terms and your payment obligations, we assign you ownership of the Mini App definitions (structure, schema, JSX) generated from your prompts. You are responsible for the content you generate.
We do not use the content of your prompts or Mini Apps to train our own models, and we use AI Providers in configurations that exclude training on customer content. See the privacy policy AI section for current providers and the data flow.
8. Intellectual property
Briques, its platform, brand, source code, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any right to our trademarks, logos, or brand features beyond use within the Briques service.
The "Made with Briques" badge that appears on Free-tier Mini Apps is a brand element we license to you for that use only. Removing it requires a Pro subscription.
9. Plans, subscriptions & credits
Plans
- Free: 1 published Mini App, 100 MB row data, 5 MB file storage, 80 AI Credits per month, fast model only.
- Pro: $8.99 USD per month (7-day free trial for new subscribers), unlimited published Mini Apps, 1 GB row data, 500 MB file storage, 200 AI Credits per month with 2-month rollover, fast and balanced models, AI search and AI workflows.
Pricing displayed on this site is in US dollars. Local pricing in the App Store may vary by region and is set by Apple's or Google's pricing tiers.
Auto-renewing subscription terms (Pro)
- Length: 1 month per billing period.
- Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge during the trial period. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your Apple ID or Google Play account is charged for the first month. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple / Google per subscription group; only one trial per account.
- Price: $8.99 USD per month after any free trial, or the equivalent in your App Store region.
- Auto-renew: Pro renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: Manage or cancel from your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS) or your Google Play subscription settings on Android. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then.
- Billing: Your Apple ID or Google Play account is charged at confirmation of purchase. Renewals are charged within 24 hours before the next period.
- Refunds: Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled by Google through the Play Store.
- Restore Purchases: Available in the in-app settings. Use this to recover an active subscription on a new device.
What a Credit is
A Credit is the unit Briques uses to meter AI work. Different operations consume different numbers of Credits based on the underlying model and request size. Typical costs:
- 1 Credit —one fast-model action: a refinement turn, an AI-search query, an embedding update for a small table.
- 3–5 Credits —one balanced-model generation: turning a prompt into a Mini App plan, generating a single page's widget tree, running an AI workflow step.
- Variable —large or multi-step jobs are quoted in the app before you confirm; you always see the Credit cost before spending.
Each Plan includes a monthly Credit allowance. Pro Credits roll over for two months; Free Credits do not roll over. Additional Credits can be purchased as one-time top-up packs through the App Store. Credits are prepaid, non-refundable, and non-transferable; they have no cash value, can only be spent inside Briques, and may not be exchanged for other goods or services. The exceptions are (a) refunds required by law and (b) automatic refunds for system failures, described next.
Credit refunds for system failures
We automatically refund Credits to your wallet when a system failure on our side prevents the action from completing successfully (5xx errors, infrastructure outage, parse failure, timeout). Refunds are credited to the wallet they were drawn from.
Plan changes
Cancelling Pro reverts you to the Free plan at the end of the billing period. If your storage or app count exceeds Free limits at that time, the affected resource enters read-only mode until you reduce usage or re-subscribe; we won't delete your data without notice.
10. Apple App Store terms
This section applies to your use of the Briques iOS app downloaded from Apple's App Store. The terms in this section are required by Apple as a condition of distribution; in case of conflict between this section and other parts of these terms, this section controls for the App-Store-licensed copy.
10.1 Acknowledgment
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Briques only, and not with Apple Inc. or its subsidiaries (collectively, "Apple"). Briques, not Apple, is solely responsible for the iOS app and its content.
10.2 Scope of license
Your licence to use the Briques iOS app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
10.3 Maintenance and support
Briques is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the iOS app. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the app.
10.4 Warranty
Briques is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Briques' sole responsibility.
10.5 Product claims
Briques, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party have relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including: product liability claims; any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar legislation; and intellectual property claims.
10.6 Intellectual property rights
In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Briques, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
10.7 Legal compliance
You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
10.8 Developer name and contact
Briques is the developer of the iOS app. Address questions, complaints, or claims regarding the app to: legal@briques.app.
10.9 Third-party terms
You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app (for example, your wireless data plan agreement).
10.10 Third-party beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
11. Reporting concerns
Mini Apps are private to your Account and not shared in the current version of Briques, so there is no public surface to report. If you encounter AI-generated content that you believe violates these terms, that mishandles your data, or that you otherwise want us to review, contact safety@briques.app. We respond within 5 business days. Urgent safety issues are prioritised.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please email security@briques.app before public disclosure.
12. Termination
You can stop using Briques at any time by deleting your Account (see the privacy policy deletion section). We may suspend or terminate your Account if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or for extended inactivity (12 months without sign-in). On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately and unused Credits are forfeited; sections that by their nature should survive (see section 16) will survive.
13. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI Output will be accurate, suitable, or fit for any specific use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briques' total liability arising out of or related to these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or substitute services, even if advised of their possibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability; in those jurisdictions the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and you may have additional rights.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Briques and its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any third-party claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of Briques.
- Your Customer Data, including any claim that your prompts or stored content infringe a third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Your use of AI Output in violation of these terms or applicable law.
- Your breach of these terms or any representation you make to us.
We will tell you promptly about any claim for which we seek indemnity, let you control the defence and settlement (provided you don't agree to anything that admits fault on our behalf or obliges us beyond payment of damages), and reasonably cooperate at your expense.
15. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the exceptions below, the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or your use of Briques.
Local consumer protections. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence (for example, EU consumer rights, the UK Consumer Rights Act, the Australian Consumer Law, the Canadian provincial consumer statutes, or the Indian Consumer Protection Act) gives you greater rights or a different forum than this section provides, those local protections apply and nothing here overrides them.
Informal resolution first. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to email legal@briques.app with a description of the dispute and what resolution you seek, and to give us 30 days to respond.
No class actions. To the extent permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
16. Survival
Sections that by their nature should survive termination of these terms will survive. These include section 1 (Definitions), section 6 (AI output), section 7 (Your content) to the extent of licence grants already made, section 8 (Intellectual property), section 9 (Plans, subscriptions & credits) for any unpaid amounts, section 13 (Disclaimers & liability), section 14 (Indemnification), section 15 (Governing law & disputes), and any payment obligations accrued before termination.
17. Beta & experimental features
Briques is in beta. Some features may be labelled "beta", "experimental", "preview", or similar. These features are provided as-is for evaluation; they may change, break, become unavailable, or be removed at any time without notice. The disclaimers and liability limits in section 13 apply to beta features with full force; we make no commitment that any beta feature will reach general availability or be supported indefinitely.
18. IP complaints
If you believe AI Output you have received from Briques, or any other content on the Briques service, infringes your copyright or another intellectual property right, send a written notice to legal@briques.app with:
- Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email.
- A description of the work you claim has been infringed.
- A description of where the allegedly infringing material appears in Briques and enough detail to let us locate it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for the rights-holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will investigate complaints in good faith and may remove or disable access to material we determine in our reasonable judgement to infringe. We may terminate the Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
19. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material (for example, changing pricing structure, AI Provider, or licensing terms), we'll notify you in the product or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms. Older versions are available on request.
